The Cat Spring VFD seeks all who wish to help, either the top notch physical candidate, or the next door neighbor who can be available to co-ordinate rehab at a scene. From front line suppression and equipment operation, to EMS, and other needs like rehab and traffic control, we can use your abilities, almost every time!
Background
Cat Spring VFD has many active members with over 20 years experience in multiple live scenarios as well as training situations. There is a good chance that someone has seen "this" before and we can take care of it quickly.
Training
Training is the backbone behind all department field functions. The best equipment in the world does not operate itself. That is where our trained staff steps in to mitigate the situation and minimize damage to life, limb, and property.
Community Support
Without a tax base, we are more dependent than ever for our community's support in everything we do. Our support has been phenomenal, whether at a local department fundraiser, or at a specific event for specialized gear and equipment. Our community support has been overwhelming.
